By booking a service with Equi’Sport Ease, clients acknowledge and agree to the following terms.

1. Bookings & Cancellations

  • A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment or lesson.
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice, or failure to attend a scheduled booking, may be charged the full service fee.
  • Exceptions may be made in genuine emergencies or circumstances outside the client's reasonable control.
  • Any applicable travel fees will be communicated prior to confirming the appointment.

2. Coaching & Horse Training

  • Coaching is available to riders with their own horse only.
  • Lessons may include ridden work, groundwork or a combination of both, depending on the needs of the horse and rider.
  • Coaching and training are adapted to each individual horse and rider according to their experience, behaviour, physical ability and progress.
  • Specific training results or timeframes cannot be guaranteed.
  • Owners and riders remain responsible for their horse's ongoing training, management and safety outside of sessions with Equi’Sport Ease.

3. Equine Massage & Bodywork

  • Equine massage and bodywork are complementary services intended to support the horse's comfort and physical wellbeing.
  • Massage and bodywork do not replace veterinary diagnosis or treatment.
  • Clients must disclose any known injury, illness, lameness, medication or other relevant health concern prior to treatment.
  • Veterinary assessment or clearance may be recommended where appropriate.
  • Treatment may be modified, postponed or discontinued if considered unsuitable for the horse.

4. Equipment & Rider Responsibilities

  • Clients are responsible for providing their own suitable, correctly fitted and well-maintained equipment, including saddles, bridles, girths, stirrups and any other equipment required for their horse.
  • Riders must wear appropriate clothing, footwear and protective equipment, including an approved, correctly fitted riding helmet during all ridden sessions.
  • Clients are responsible for ensuring their horse's equipment is in safe working condition and appropriate for the activity being undertaken.
  • Clients must inform Equi’Sport Ease of any known equipment defects, fitting concerns or other issues that may compromise safety or the horse's comfort.
  • Equi’Sport Ease reserves the right to refuse the use of equipment considered unsafe, unsuitable or detrimental to the horse's welfare.
  • Clients are responsible for providing a suitable horse for the activity and disclosing any known behavioural or training concerns that may affect safety.

5. Horse Welfare & Safety

  • The physical and mental welfare of the horse will always be prioritised.
  • Clients must disclose any relevant health conditions, behavioural concerns, previous incidents or other information that may affect the safety of the horse, rider, handler or practitioner.
  • Clients must provide a reasonably safe and suitable environment for lessons, training and bodywork sessions.
  • Equi’Sport Ease reserves the right to modify, postpone or discontinue any session where the horse's welfare or the safety of those involved may be compromised.
  • Equi’Sport Ease reserves the right to refuse training methods or equipment considered inappropriate or detrimental to the horse's welfare.

6. Acknowledgement of Risk & Liability

  • Clients acknowledge that handling, riding, training and working with horses involve inherent risks, including falls, kicks, bites, unpredictable behaviour, accidents, personal injury and, in serious cases, death.
  • Clients understand that horses are unpredictable animals and that risks cannot be completely eliminated, even when reasonable safety precautions are taken.
  • Clients voluntarily participate in equestrian activities with an understanding of these risks.
  • Clients accept responsibility for ensuring that their horse, equipment and facilities are reasonably suitable and safe for the intended activities.
  • To the extent permitted by applicable law, clients agree that Equi’Sport Ease will not be held liable for injury, loss or damage arising solely from the inherent risks of equestrian activities or from the client's failure to fulfil their responsibilities under these terms.
  • Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any liability, right or consumer guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian law.

7. Agreement to Terms

By proceeding with a booking, clients confirm that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
